Cobwebs & Candy Canes began with one simple question:
Where are the ornaments for people like me?
I wasn’t looking for traditional holiday decor. I was looking for something that didn’t exist. Something that felt like a bridge between seasons. Something familiar, but slightly… off.
That search led me to create my first pieces.
Not traditional ornaments, but a series of specimens: botanical structures, winged forms, preserved fragments, and unfamiliar variations of familiar things.
After I started making them, something became clear. They didn’t just belong on Christmas trees.
They don’t feel seasonal. They don’t have to be packed away.
They belong on their own stand. Dangling from a candle holder. Placed in a bouquet. Hanging from a shelf. They belong in places where they can be seen year-round.
Cobwebs & Candy Canes exists for everyone who decorates outside the season. For people who keep what others put away. For those of us who prefer their surroundings slightly… altered.
